- I did not do the IC under my mentor because he and I were focusing on the Science Fair when ever we had a chance to meet. If you need someone to verify that I worked my butt off, you may contact my dad, Victor Hall. Email me for his contact information.

- For the IC I successfully learned what it takes to be an advocate. As explained in prior blog posts, I focused on 3 aspects of advocacy: educating yourself, others, and raising money. I suppose you could my culminating event of the IC was my 30 min presentation.
- Educate yourself: I read two books: Ten Things Every child With Autism Wishes You Knew by Ellen Notbohm & The Everday Advocate by Areva Martin. (PROOF IS IN MY ALTERNATIVE NOTES RESEARCH). Dating back even further, I was educating myself prior to the IC by attending a workshop by Stowell Learning Disability (as explained in an earlier blog) and reading fictional yet true accounts of children with autism (Anything But Typical blog).
- Educate others: I spent numerous hours working on my Facebook page for S.P.E.A.K. Up, creating flyers, and my 30 minute presentation which in itself was a form of educating others about how to be an advocate.
- Raise money: This was not the best part of my IC as though I spent many hours trying to raise money, I eventually realized I didn't have the time, nor organization required to take on this task.
Applied
- This compoenent expanded on the foundation of my topic by letting me know that supporting for an autistic child is more than just taking them to therapy. There's so much more to do for them such as defending them when someone made an ignorant remark, making sure they're getting best treatment for their needs (i.e. a teacher aid in class a.k.a a "one-on-one"), and trying to understand what they're going for esepecially when they can't tell you.
- It leats me know that there is always something that can be done for autism.
