Blog 23: 2014 Interview

1.  Who did you interview and what house are they in?

• Lupe Lara
• West House 

2.  What ideas do you have for your senior project and why?

• Option 1: Music; either guitar or singing. I suggested doing both as one. This is one of her options because music is a passion of hers.
• Option 2: Something in the medical field because it is an interest. She would probably focus on pediatrics or the ER.

3.  What do you plan to do for your summer 10 hour mentorship experience?

• Train with the choir director in her church focusing on enhancing technique.
• She knows of an upcoming rap artist whom she has close access to and may be able to shadow him while he is on tour.

 

4.  What do you hope to see or expect to see in watching the 2013 2-hour presentations?

• What to expect as far as work load and hopefully to see a music or medical focused project.

 

5.  What questions do you have that I can answer about senior year or senior project (or what additional information did you tell them about senior year or senior project)?

• Helpful hints: If she decides to go with the medical project to start finding volunteer opprotunities this summer as most of the hospitals only accept applications for a limited time. Don't delay in this field, or else it will hurt you later.
• I was able to get her in contact with a class I had for ROP. This would be a great opprotunity for her to gain hospital work because one of the options is to work in the ER taking vitals and other medical necessities.
